This tutorial video guides you through the steps necessary to increase your idle rpm set point on your mass air fox body the right way. This starts with some simple tune changes based on your desired rpm, followed by some initial data logging, and finally the proper calculations necessary to determine how much idle air your combo needs to idle smoothly and how to determine the amount of air getting through the throttle body vs. the idle air valve. In this video I use the Binary Editor software combined with a Moates QuarterHorse to walk through the relevant stock settings on the Fox Body A9L configuration, which is what you'd find in a 89-93 5.0 5-speed car, and a tutorial on increasing idle from 672 (stock) to 772 rpms.
