Long Hike in Conagher Forest and Lough Navar Forest Co. Fermanagh N. Ireland July 2022

This was an epic hike of over 24k through 2 forests, visits 3 lakes, seeing some wildlife including Deer and a Buzzard. I was joined today again by fellow Parkrunner, Donal, and his trusty dog, Freddie and it was almost 6 hours of non stop stories and laughs. We enjoyed beautiful walking conditions, sunny and no wind, and the forests were very quiet. The three lakes we visited where Lough Navar, Meenameen Lough and Lough Achork and were spectacular in the sun. Most of our walk was on forest road except for some off piste scrambling through wild woodland at the far end of Meenameen Lough. Great hike, and great to have the company of Donal and Freddie. #fermanagh #loughnavar #conagherforest
