If you've been on my channel before, you might have already seen my first trinket dish sewing video • Charm packs aren't just for quilts! Make t... It's been one of my most popular videos yet, so I decided to expand on it with some additional tips! I also wanted to take an opportunity to slow down the tutorial a little because there were some comments on the original video about the narration being too fast. In this video, I'm sharing how to make charm pack trinket dishes as well as tips for making multiples at a time. This is a technique most people call "batch sewing." This project is perfect for sewing in batches, and it makes these super fast to sew! Read my blog for more information on this project: https://craftingwithclementine.com/ch... You can also find a printable template and instructions in my Ko-Fi Shop: https://ko-fi.com/craftingwithclement... The template is great for lining up prints on your fabric so they are visible after your dish is sewn. For this project, you need 4 charm squares, which are 5" pieces of fabric. A charm square is a type of precut quilting fabric that you can buy in bundles -- usually with 42 pieces per bundle. If you don't have a charm pack, you can of course follow along with your own fabric cut to 5" squares! Supplies You Need (affiliate links): Fabric: 4 charm squares (5" squares) per trinket dish. Batting: I cut mine to 4" or 4.5" so it's smaller than the fabric (this makes the seams less bulky). You need 2 pieces per trinket dish.
