Most universities are still preparing students for a world that no longer exists. In 2025, a 17-year-old in Manila or Lagos has access to more expert knowledge than a Harvard Medical student had in 1990 — for free, on their phone. Yet we still measure intelligence by how much information a student can memorize and regurgitate under exam pressure. Meanwhile, AI is reshaping every profession.
