Due to the Youtube compression. I have attached the 35secs uncompressed clip below. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B9FN... Sony Zeiss Vario-Tessar T* FE 16-35mm f/4.0 OSS Lens Video Test This is the Sony Zeiss Vario-Tessar T* 16-35mm f/4.0 OSS Full Frame E-Mount Lens Video Test. I did the test with the Sony A7S Mark II. This lens feels very solid, great build quality. A bit heavy I would say. But image quality is amazing. Although its only f/4.0, but thats fine for me. Because I rather prefer sharp than soft 2.8. The good thing about this lens is, it has the build in Optical SteadyShot. Its not a bigger deal for A7S Mark II cos of the internal 5 Axis in Image Stabilization. But at least you can still use it on the Mark I. The only down side is, the lens is focus by wire. It means this 16-35mm lens is an non-mechanical focusing system, the focusing is performed by the focusing motor in the lens. Turning a focusing ring simply sends a signal to the motor to change the focus. Turn the ring faster and the lens steps through focus points more quickly, while with a manual lens there’s a one-to-one ratio between the focus ring and the actual focus itself. I personally don’t like this type of focus system. But over all, it is a great lens. I loved using it. Pro Native e mount lens (Do not need an adapter) Great build quality Cons Focus by wire While the OSS is on, the image crops in a bit (16mm become 17.5mm) Pricey Thanks for watching, please subscribe for more videos ^.^ DSI Pictures Entertainment 2015 Filmed and edit by Steve Chan Special Thanks: Josh Lee www.dsipictures.com Coming up next: Zeiss Touit 12mm f/2.8 Lens (Sony E-Mount) Video Test and Sigma 18-35mm f/1.8 DC HSM Art Lens Video Test
