I find this tool in a store that sell every type of iron and old tools, i paid 2$ for this one. I just restore this tool cause i need it to use in my future projects. This antique hand saw is not big. To this project i had to work with to remove all rust of the blade and bring some shine with a wire brush, to the handle I just scrapered the varnish, sand a lot and stain the wood with Red. I start disassemble the handle with a plier cause the handle was being hold by a rust wire. Now i begin clean a little the saw, there's a lot rust in the surface of this saw so i needed to make electrolycis and use hydrocloric acid to rid off all the deep rust parts. After that I wire wheeled the saw to bring a shiny finish and apply penetrating oil to protect from rust. The handle as you can see was in a very bad shape and needed a lot of sanding and a good stain for wood, i chose red stain. To assemble I Put a new screws with polish finish to make it more pretty. The final result turned out very pretty and useful.
