On Prime Time, we ask why no action is being taken against the officers of different staff selection boards despite repetitive allegations of scams, leakage of question papers and corruption. A group of candidates who are protesting in Patna against alleged errors in the questions asked in the 64th BPSC CCE (Bihar Public Service Commission 64th Common Combined competitive preliminary examination) say that their concerns were brushed aside by the officers of the selection commission. The protesters demand a system to be put in place to prevent such errors that cause undue delays in the final selection of candidates. Meanwhile, the chairman of SSC, Ashim Khurana was given a two year extension of his service after his retirement. Anupam, Delhi chief of Swaraj India, points out the flawed process employed in the extension of Mr Khurana's tenure.
