Esther Yoo performs a new chamber arrangement by Iain Farrington of the Adagietto from Mahler's 5th symphony. The piece is taken from her new album 'Love Symposium': https://estheryoo.lnk.to/LoveSymposium Esther Yoo’s new album explores musical thoughts on the theme of ‘love’, together with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Long Yu. At the heart of the album sits Leonard Bernstein’s Serenade written after Plato’s Symposium, which was her New York Philharmonic debut piece that she performed to great acclaim. Around it short pieces including this new arrangement of Mahler’s ‘Adagietto’, Vaughan Williams’ ‘The Lark Ascending’ carry on the deep and varied conversation on love.
