01. Introducing the Clarinéo

The NUVO Clarinéo is a beginners clarinet designed specifically to help kids get started early without some of the hurdles encountered with traditional clarinets. Pitched in the key of C and made from moulded resin, the Clarinéo is much lighter and smaller and therefore easier to handle than the standard Bb Clarinet. Kids can learn to play the Clarinéo much more easily and from an earlier age and then when they are ready they can graduate to the Bb Clarinet. Since the fingering is the same, the transition is very quick and the student is way ahead of students who did not have the chance to start on the Clarinéo. In this video Bruce introduces some of the main features and benefits of the NUVO Clarinéo. The Clarinéo is also a great classroom instrument since it is super durable and easy to repair saving lots of time and money on expensive repairs.
