Silent HIKING 7 days on the island of MADEIRA

In January 2024, my partner and I did the 140 km that connect Porto Moniz (in the west of the Island of Madeira) with Ponta de Sao Lorenço (at the very east of the island). We spent a total of 7 days and accumulated a total of 6,800 positive meters of climbing. The island is incredibly beautiful and at the same time hard to walk throw since there is not a single flat kilometer. The landscape change as you travel around the island to its highest point, Pico Ruivo at 1862 meters above sea level. We slept every night in our tent (wild camping is not allowed but there are places set up for it that can be reserved in advance).
