The evening when two late running trains from Howrah overtake 18003 UP Rani Shiromoni Express

Date of capture: 6th July 2025 Onboard train: 18003 UP Howrah Adra Rani Shiromoni Express Loco of our train: SRC WAP 4 #22637 I was onboard 18003 UP Howrah Adra Rani Shiromoni Express. As the day was Sunday, hence our train was running almost crowd free, hardly 10-12 peoples were there at my coach. I was travelling from Howrah Jn to Salboni station. At that day, both 12663 UP Howrah Tiruchirapalli Bi-weekly Sf Express and 12827 UP Howrah Purulia Sf Express had departed late from Howrah station. 12827 UP Purulia Express was late because of 1.5 hours late arrival of its RSA link train 18628 DN Ranchi Howrah Intercity Express Via Adra at Howrah station (because the train was 2 hours rescheduled to depart from Ranchi station). 12663 UP Tiruchirapalli Express was late as it rake was brought late from SRC carshed to Howrah station leading to its delay of 1 hour. As both the trains have no halt between Howrah station and Kharagpur station, hence there was a high chance that these two trains would overtake us before Kharagpur as our train has 7 halts between Howrah station and Kharagpur station. From Santraganchi onward, our train was running at UP main line. After departing from Mecheda station, I noticed that the UP signals on mid reversal tracks was turned to green.
