Kali ini memenuhi permintaan anak saya, Gio, naik bis listrik TMD! Kami berangkat setelah pulang sekolah dari Jimbaran, sekitar jam 11.30 dan sampai di Sentral Parkir sekitar jam 12.30 siang. Kebetulan itu di hari Jumat, bertepatan dengan jadwal “Jumatan” jadi lalu lintas menuju Sentral Parkir lumayan agak padat. Setelah menunggu lumayan lama, bis listrik akhirnya datang juga sekitar jam 3 sore. Sedikit info dari saya buat kalian yang minat mencoba atau sekadar ajak anak keliling naik bis :) 1. Bis listrik EV sedang dalam masa uji coba, jadi hanya 1 unit yang beroperasi dan hanya tersedia di 1 koridor saja, yaitu: K6B, Terminal Sentral Parkir - BTDC Nusa Dua. 2. Ongkos bis listrik di masa uji coba ini GRATIS! :) 3. Uji coba bis sudah berjalan sejak bulan September dan akan berakhir di 6 November 2025 4. Tips khusus dari Gio: cek bis via Trans Metro Dewata, bila tidak tertulis di jadwal, coba cari bus melalui live tracking, dengan cara Search Bus dan ketik nomor lambung bis “EV TMD”, bis yang sedang beroperasi akan muncul di layar dengan nomor plat B. Dengan cara ini, kalian bisa memperkirakan jam berapa bis itu tiba di terminal atau halte terdekat kalian. Seru juga merasakan naik bis listrik, ga berisik, ramah lingkungan dan ga bikin polusi. Mumpung masih ada waktu nih dan gratis pulak, yuuklah cepet coba! :D ------------------------------------------------- This time, I got to fulfill a special request from my son, Gio, to check out the new Trans Metro Dewata (TMD) electric bus! We left school in Jimbaran around 11:30 a.m. and made it to the Sentral Parkir Terminal by 12:30 p.m. Unfortunately, it was Friday—and peak "Jumatan" (Friday Prayer) time—so the traffic was pretty intense. After a fairly long wait, our electric bus finally rolled in around 3 p.m. If you're interested in taking the kids (or just yourself!), here are a few things you should know: 1. The EV bus is currently in a trial phase, which means only one unit is operating. It runs exclusively on the K6B corridor, connecting Terminal Sentral Parkir to BTDC Nusa Dua. 2. This is the best part: the bus fare during this trial period is completely free! Go enjoy the ride while you can. 3. The trial has been running since September and is scheduled to wrap up on November 6, 2025. 4. Gio’s Pro Tip (How to Track the Bus): If the bus isn't showing up on the Trans Metro Dewata app schedule, switch to the live tracking map and use “Search Bus" and then type in the vehicle number: "EV TMD" (the bus license plate starts with B). This feature will show you the exact location of the operating bus, allowing you to accurately estimate its arrival time at your terminal or bus stop. It was fun to ride an electric bus, it's not noisy, environmentally friendly and doesn't cause pollution. Gio and I really enjoyed it!
