Ingredients: For the dough: 2 cups all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon salt 3 tbsp refined oil 2 tbsp besan 2 tbsp sooji / rava 1/4 cup water For the filling: 4 medium potatoes, boiled and mashed 1 inch ginger finely chopped 3 green chillies finely chopped coriander stems finely chopped coriander leaves finely chopped ksoori methi 3 tbsp corn flour 2 tsp garam masala 1/2 tsp cumin powder 1/2 tsp amchoor powder 1/2 tsp chaat masala 1/4 tsp hing 1/2 tsp kashmiri red chili powder 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder Salt to taste For frying: Vegetable oil for frying Instructions: Make the dough: In a large bowl, combine the all purpose flour, besan sooji ,kalonji ,ajwain ,refined oil and salt. Gradually add the water, mixing until the dough comes together , keep the dough in a bowl and drizzle some oil on top of it and spread the oil in the dough and cover it with a cloth and keep it aside for rest for 30 minuted Prepare the filling: In a large bowl, combine the mashed potatoes, ginger , coriander, kasoori methi , green chillies cumin powder, red chili powder, chat masala , cumin powder, salt, and . Mix well. Assemble the samosa croissants: Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface into a circle with medium thickness. In the centre of a circle ( roti ) keep a small bowl and spread the aloo mixture evenly remove the bowl . Cut the dough into 16 equal parts with the help of a pizza cutter Fold the dough diagonally to form a triangle, sealing the edges firmly. Roll each triangle into a croissant shape, starting from the base and rolling towards the point. Fry the samosa croissants: Heat oil in a kadai or sauce pan in medium heat. Carefully add the samosa croissants to the hot oil and fry until golden brown and crispy. Remove from the oil and drain on wire rack or paper towels. Serve: Serve the samosa croissants hot with your favorite dipping sauce, such as tomato kechtup tamarind chutney or mint sauce. Enjoy your delicious and unique samosa croissants!
