How to Replace a Brake Can aka Brake Chamber.

A relatively smooth brake chamber replacement. My goal this month was to make all of my videos around 3 minutes long. This job came out of nowhere and unfortunately 3 minutes just wasn’t long enough. Hopefully you can all forgive me this one time. I had a load stick in a rolloff tank while dumping at the landfill. I pulled forward, then I backed up and hit the brakes. The load came out, but when I went to leave I noticed that I only had 60PSI on my gauges. I could hear air rushing through the parking brake valve(yellow button) and the warning light and buzzer came on. I was able to drive off of the garbage hill to where the city has a recycled-asphalt parking lot for their trucks and got out and could hear the chamber leaking. I was able to get the brake released and shored up the air leak so I could make it safely back to the shop. The parking brake spring had broken and punctured the diaphragm inside the chamber so it needed to be replaced. Make sure to buy the correct part for your vehicle. Thanks for your time.
