1960s Edwin Hall Coin Operated Ostrich Kiddie Ride

Filmed at Earnley Gardens on July 31st 2011. This ostrich was originally made by Edwin Hall & Co of Streatham and released in 1969. Curiously, the plate on top of this particular model's coin slot read "Supplied and manufactured by Edward Savill Amusements". I know Edward Savill distributed all of Hall's rides for many years, so I'm guessing either Savill ended up with leftover stock from Hall's workshop when the company folded or Savill Amusements did actually start manufacturing these rides themselves.
