WORLD’S MOST SPECTACULAR SKYLINES With my heart racing, I open the door to my River View Suite, because I know what I can expect: The view of the pulsing harbor and the gate to the world. I start the act of painting at dusk, this time accompanied by a television crew. Nothing can stop my euphoria of bringing this cherished motive onto the canvas. Not only do I feel a deep affection for the Hamburg Harbor, but many captains of the huge container ships bestow it the title of “the most beautiful harbor in the world,” and the sailors should know what they are talking about. They’ve seen quite a few harbors before … ------------ Jeannine Platz is an impressive artist who puts a lot of love and passion into her work. With a fascinating detail, she has captured the view of the vibrant Hamburg harbor scenario and the waterside from the Empire Riverside Hotel.
