As an avid Marvel fan, I could not pass these up. And I'm glad I didn't! Let's start with the props. The "hammer" handle is actually well made, not cheap at all. Feels very crafted. The packaging is hilarious, a glossy box emblazoned with lightning radiating from a perfect cutout to hold the hammer, as if it was striking it. A perfect desk adornment. The actual box is sealed tightly, so you really have to work it carefully to open it, or you risk ruining that lightning! Inside were all you'd expect, along with a teeny instruction booklet. Get your reading glasses... Oh, wait: these are Bluetooth Earbuds, no instructions needed. Just charge the hammer, and hold down the blinking earbud to pair. Simple. One note: make sure to take off the little sheen of film over the earbuds' charging contacts. I didn't, and couldn't figure out why they weren't charging, until my wife noticed the problem. All good. The inside of the hammer has a helpful meter to tell you the percentage of battery the case has to recharge the buds. The sound from the buds is clear, good midrange and treble, not a ton of bass, but let's be honest: are you buying these to replace buds that cost hundreds of dollars? Heck, no, you want the power of Thor! These would make a great gift for the Marvel fan in your life, and they are actually pretty good!
