A suspected shoplifting incident at a Walmart in St. Petersburg, Florida escalated when employees accused 39-year-old Ashley Gnau of concealing bras, press-on nails, underwear, and eating cookies without paying, totaling just $35.75. Bodycam footage shows Gnau angrily denying the accusations, arguing with staff, and ultimately being arrested after officers say she pushed a deputy during the confrontation. She now faces charges including battery on a law enforcement officer, petit theft, and disorderly conduct, has pleaded not guilty, and has been ordered to stay away from the store while her case remains active.
