Filming sharks at night is a true treat, some of my personal favorite shark moments happen in the dark, Bulls, Lemons, and nurse sharks each like to approach my cameras, and continue to do so at night. Bulls Sharks are one of the "big three" sharks on earth along with Great Whites and Tiger Sharks. Bulls are notorious for being aggressive and attacking people. While that reputation is well earned, its extremely unlikely to happen, although swimmers should always use common sense and treat all wildlife, not just sharks as potentially dangerous. Swimmers should always be aware of their surroundings, as many attacks can easily be avoided. Nurse Sharks are very common here in Florida, especially in the areas I frequently film in, from under piers, swimming around inlets, and to the reefs just off shore, these sharks are everywhere. Lemon Sharks are one of my favorites, they always put on a display, these large sharks are considered to be docile to humans, some individuals being documented seeking divers out and letting them rub their snouts. Lemon sharks should not be underestimated however, these animals get large and have some impressive teeth and power behind those jaws as well. One of the more frequent sharks to take bait off of my baited camera, usually doing so with a show of force.
