Family, Fun, Life Ethan is 4 years old and had his 4th surgery. Follow us for the day we spent in the hospital. He recovered well. He was hard to keep still. Ordered reduced activity for 6 weeks which was nearly impossible to do. If your child is having surgery I can help answer some questions you may have. Its a scary process and each surgery doesn't get any easier. Ethan had no idea what was going on and kept calling the bandaid an owie. Hes a champ. Canadian health care-surgery is free here but we pay monthly health coverage. Some jobs pay for it which is about $150/month. This gives us access to doctors, specialists and hospitals. Medications are not fully covered for most and many you need a benefits plan through work to pay for it. I pay about $400/month on average for my type one diabetes medications and this is after my benefits costs. Check out more videos • Sharp Life Family, Fun, Life Mom, Dad, a girl and a boy.
