We have identified a problem relating to irrigation system around the University. We have noticed a lot of water wastes through this existing irrigation system and found out some of the places are dried out without sufficient water supply. Our aim is to increase the total effectiveness of the irrigation system, consuming low electric power. We decided to use image processing techniques to identify where will be most water needed and when. An unmanned, reduced size, low power moving robot will first recognize specific locations to supply water and when to cut off the supply. It will also identified the area where water need to be sprayed. In this way, water supply will be always target to the specific area where it is mostly needed. Everything in the process will be inspected and controlled automatically. We try our best to minimize the cost, increasing the simplicity of the total system. We have 3 moths of summer period which we can accelerates the project work, focusing to finish implementations in late August. Testing can be done through the falls semester and documentation will be started in the beginning of December. We have very strong team with multi distinct majors.
