'Albert' combines static/white noise, dust crackle, filtering, and vibrato modulation into one pedal, creating a "one-stop shop" for all your lo-fi needs. Obviously the main competition for this style of effect is the famous 'Generation Loss', in all its forms. However, everything from the original Cooper Fx pedal and later 'Arcades' card, to their more recent collaborative efforts with Chase Bliss, is far out of reach for many people, due to the high prices.
