TWO HOMEMADE DOG TREAT RECIPES | COOKING FOR YOUR DOG // LoveLexyNicole In today's video we are going to be cooking up TWO homemade dog treat recipes! Both recipes use minimal ingredients and take only a few minutes to whip up! I love making these for my fur babies because all the ingredients are vet approved and I know exactly the ingredients I am feeding my fur babies! XOXO, Lexy Materials: Dog treat kit: https://amzn.to/2OvqmwK Mixing bowls: https://amzn.to/3sRbAzg silicone baking mats: https://amzn.to/3roTVPi sheet pans: https://amzn.to/3bkWrAq Air tight containers: https://amzn.to/2Ownm34 Pumpkin Peanut Butter Treats Ingredients: -1/2C pumpkin puree 3T unsweetened, natural peanut butter 1 large egg -1C whole wheat flour Directions: preheat oven to 350 degrees In a mixing bowl combine the pumpkin puree, peanut butter, and egg and mix together until everything is well combined. Add the flour a little at a time and mix with a fork or whisk until a dough forms. Go in with your hands to really make sure all ingredients are well combined Lightly coat the silicone molds with olive oil or coconut oil and fill molds with dough.Make sure to press dough into molds Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes for a soft treat or 40 minutes for a hard biscuit! Allow 5-10 minutes to cool and serve to your fur friend! Banana Peanut Butter Treats Ingredients: -2 ripe banana 1C peanut butter 1C whole wheat flour -1t cinnamon 1/2C of water Directions: preheat oven to 350 degrees In a mixing bowl mash up the bananas until they are soft enough to mix -Add the peanut butter, flour, cinnamon, and water. I add a little bit of flour at a time to make it easier to mix Mix until the dough forms. Add more flour if the dough is too sticky -Roll out dough and cut into shapes Bake for 20 minutes on a silicone mat or a non-greased cookie sheet. Bake for 40 minutes for a hard biscuit. Allow 5-10 minutes to cool and serve to your fur friend! Treats last 3-4 days in an airtight container and 7-10 days in an airtight container in the fridge. Freeze treats in a freezer bag and they will last up to 6 months. Defrost frozen treats and store as stated above!
