Honeywell UOP possess a wide portfolio of carbon capture technologies ranging from pre and post combustion amine solvents, other chemical and physical solvents, membranes, adsorbents (PSAs), and cryogenics. In this session, UOP will summarise the relative merits of the different types of capture technologies based on type of application, while also accounting for typical project constraints. The discussion will include some case studies in power, cement and blue hydrogen. Duncan McSorland is a Business Development Manager for Honeywell's Sustainable Technology Solutions business covering Carbon Capture and Hydrogen technology sales for European projects and customers. Duncan gained 25 years oil and gas industry experience with engineering contractors across all sectors (upstream, midstream and downstream) in engineering and sales roles before joining Honeywell UOP in 2022 based in the Bracknell, UK office.
