Sear beef cubes in hot olive oil until browned. Remove. 2. Add onions with salt and caramelize to lift the fond. 3. Add bell pepper, carrots, and spices. Sauté briefly. 4. Return beef to pot. Deglaze with red wine. 5. Add tomato paste and stock. Cover and braise at 180°C (356°F) for 2.5–3 hours. 6. Pan-fry dumplings in olive oil with parsley. 7.
