Oldcastle Infrastructure - Bridge Assembly Drone Video

Moises Cedillo the Project and Operations Manager at Oldcastle Infrastructure in Oregon reached out, curious about what it would take to get drone footage of them in action doing their thing assembling a bridge for ODOT. This would involve heavy equipment and giant pieces being hoisted by a crane. When I heard about it the build was two days out. Time for an adventure to Oregon! The next morning we got the official go ahead. So I did a pre scheduled drone gig that lasted until 2pm, and by hustling was out of town by 4! From there it was 5 hours on the road, pack all the gear into the hotel, then up early to be on site ready to go at 7:30am! I wanted to fly and get footage of every piece of the Bridge being installed so was back and forth between the cinema drone and the FPV rig. Was dialed in focusing on shots and keeping everything going and next thing I knew it was 2pm and the bridge was complete! It started raining right as we were done, perfectly timed, and rained all the way home on the drive back to Washington. Got so many sweet shots it was tough to edit them down haha So I made long versions for fun, as well as the more digestible 2 and 1 min vids that they were looking for.
