A prayer through which we receive good news.. وَأَهْلَنَا وَأَوْلَادَنَا For our families and our children وَجَمِيع مَشَايِخِنَا And all of our sheikhs وَمُعَلِّمِينَا وَطُلَّبَتِنَا Our teachers and our students وَطَالِبَاتِنَا مِنْ يَوْمِنَا هَذَا And our female students from this day إِلَى يَوْمِ الآخِرَةِ Until the Day of the Hereafter --- أَحْكَمْتَ يَا رَبِّي لَهُ You, my Lord, decreed for him نِعْمَ الوَثَاقِ فَأَمَّنَا A blessed bond that brought us safety مِنْ كُلِّ سُوءٍ أَنْذَرَ From every evil he warned لِلْخَيْرِ يَدْعُو مُبَشِّرًا Calling to goodness with glad tidings وَافَى المَدِينَةَ وَجْهُهُ His face arrived in Madinah صَارَتْ رُبَاهَا مُنَوَّرَةً And its hills became illuminated بِالبُشْرَى غَنَّتْ يَثْرِبُ Yathrib sang with glad tidings لِلْبَدْرِ مَدْحًا مُزْهَرًا Praising the full moon in radiant verses --- اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ O Allah, send Your blessings وَسَلِّمْ عَلَى سَيِّدِنَا And peace upon our Master مُحَمَّدٍ صَاحِبِ البُشْرَى Muhammad, the bearer of glad tidings صَلَاةً تُبَشِّرُنَا بِهَا.. A prayer through which we receive good news.. وَأَهْلَنَا وَأَوْلَادَنَا For our families and our children وَجَمِيع مَشَايِخِنَا And all of our sheikhs وَمُعَلِّمِينَا وَطُلَّبَتِنَا Our teachers and our students وَطَالِبَاتِنَا مِنْ يَوْمِنَا هَذَا And our female students from this day إِلَى يَوْمِ الآخِرَةِ Until the Day of the Hereafter --- تَوَّجْتَهُ تَاجَ الجَمَالِ.. You crowned him with the crown of beauty.. وَبِالكَمَالِ، وَبِالجَلَالِ؛ With perfection and with majesty; رَفَعْتَ رَبِّي ذِكْرَهُ You, my Lord, raised his remembrance فِي العَالَمِينَ، حَقًّا يُقَالْ. Among all the worlds, truly it is said. رَبَّاهُ تَعْلَمُ شَوْقَنَا O Lord, You know our longing نَحْوَ الحَبِيبِ نَبِيِّنَا For the Beloved, our Prophet يَا رَبِّ فَأَصْلِحْ حَالَنَا O Lord, then rectify our state لِنَرَاهُ مَسْرُورًا بِنَا So we may see him pleased with us --- اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ O Allah, send Your blessings وَسَلِّمْ عَلَى سَيِّدِنَا And peace upon our Master مُحَمَّدٍ صَاحِبِ البُشْرَى Muhammad, the bearer of glad tidings صَلَاةً تُبَشِّرُنَا بِهَا..
