I have had this 2010 Tiguan for 2 years now and for the most part, I enjoy it but when it breaks it breaks. For some reason, it seems that the parts that break are the plastic motor parts. I understand that plastic can be as durable as some metal parts but I can attest that none of them last as long as a metal part. Cars nowadays are built to break after a certain time or car markers really say to themselves "Can this part last 7 years?" if the answer is yes and the part is cheaper to make then they do it. It makes me upset that two plastic coolant parts have broken already, and it's understandable due to the head and the coolant it is exposed to.
