4K How Uzbekistan Capital Is Trasforming Into Modern Mertopolis

In the final episode of Tashkent Architectural Tour we invite you to explore the most ambitious redevelopment of the part of Tashkent - Tashkent City International Business Center (IBC) which is a part of the new urban transformation of the capital of Uzbekistan that started in 2017. It is envisioned as a “city within a city”, combining business zones, residential apartments, leisure facilities, cultural centers, hotels, and high-rise commercial towers. The climate in Tashkent is changing and has shown noticeable trends in recent years like rising temperatures with record heatwaves reaching up to 44–46°C and longer heatwaves, that increased health and infrastructure challenge. We will see how the Tashkent City implemented overheat protections and sustainable development principles.
