The Washington County Indivisible Rush Hour Resistance message on February 6, 2026, over I-70 eastbound and westbound on the Appalachian Trail in western Maryland. Feb. 6 was a snowy afternoon on the Appalachian Trail over I-70 in western MD but 20 patriotic Rush Hour Resisters from Washington County Indivisible came out to share a special message. As part of the nationwide Visibility Brigade movement, we posted the same message being shared across the country this weekend in support of the EYES on ICE coalition: ICE CAMPS KILL In light of the Hagerstown I.C.E. warehouse, our participation is even more appropriate. The coalition shared that many detainees in Delaney Hall ICE camp in NJ are in need of medical assistance, which has been withheld from them. One man has a liver that is failing. Another is suffering from brain cancer and still another has seizure disorder and recently experienced a grand mal seizure. Numerous others suffer from pneumonia due to the poor diet and inhumane conditions. Cruelty is the point and we cannot look away. At Delaney Hall, one person has already died under these conditions. And we also know about the measles outbreak at the immigration detention center in Dilley, Texas. In 2025 alone, at least 30 people died in ICE camps. VB was asked to use our overpass capabilities to bring a broader awareness to the issue to help stop this madness.
