Throughout the human history, education has been the epicenter of attention for the very reason that it is the education that transforms people, societies, nations, leading to their development and progress. Education is about knowledge, its construction and creation. Education is about sharing the existing knowledge and creating new one. Where there is creativity and collaboration - there is idea, innovation, change, transformation and, ultimately, progress. Vafa Kazdal is Dean of the School of Education and a professor at ADA University. She is also a recipient of such professional development awards as Junior Faculty Development Program (Indiana University, Bloomington, USA), Oxford Hospitality Scheme Program (Oxford University, UK), Ronald and Eileen Weiser Professional Development (University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, USA). Her teaching and research is in the areas of teacher education, program design, implementation and evaluation, as well as language and identity and developing writing skills.
