Sliver In The City is a downtown Airstream Rally held annually in York, South Carolina. Coordinated by York natives, John Leake and Terry Montgomery, this Airstream rally is unlike any other. This was our first time attending Silver In The City, and we had a great time. The City of York opens it’s arms and warmly welcomes the gathering of Airstreams in the downtown. This is a boondocking rally, and we were running low on battery power. We were able to plug our Airstream into a new Airstream Trade Wind and use its solar cells to fully recharge our batteries.
