In this quick tutorial we show you how to make your voice over louder using compression and how it differs from normalization, and why using compression is a better way to make your voice over louder over peak normalization. We use Protools to showcase a combination of compressors but these basic compression techniques apply to compressors of all types and is editor agnostic.
