As time passed and due to his hard work, Miguel managed to get a shoe shine stand. He worked in many neighbourhoods of the central area of Mexico City. Until, 4 years ago, he moved to his current location, on Sullivan St. Miguel remembers some details of his first shoe shine job. It was outside of the Teatro Lirico, in the centre of the city, and his first customer was Angelica Maria, a well-known Mexican-American actress.
