Every shot from my round at the Walhampton Golf Club (Lymington Golf Centre) in Lymington, Hampshire on March 26th 2024. Wet weather had been forecast but checking early, there was a dry window for a few hours and a free tee time so I took it! Glad I did as I like this course which is really accessible and good value. Always a good welcome here too and that was reinforced today with friendly chat with all the members and staff I spoke to. The course was in good condition for all the rain it has experienced over this never ending winter, with only the tee mats in play but all the regular greens in use. I managed to "get lost" between the 2nd and 3rd tees, heading to the lovely little 7th instead but managed to fit back in to complete a round of 18 by joining up with a member which was good fun! I played and scored well today and got a few #birdies whilst still managing the few standard putting atrocities as usual. Just a shame I daydreamed past the third tee to not post a good score for a complete round of 18.
