This is a much-needed update to my first video - How To Say 'Hello, how are you?' in Scottish Gaelic. I truly had no idea that so many people would watch it or be interested in learning Scottish Gaelic but I am so pleased that you are! I wanted to give some examples of how to respond to the question 'how are you?' in this video and also provide an example of how to ask someone 'how are you?' in return. I hope that this video will help you a little on your way to learning the Scottish Gaelic language! Ciamar a tha thu? - How are you? (speaking to friends) Ciamar a tha sibh? - How are you? (older, plural or authority..more formal, use sibh to be safe) Tha gu math - I’m alright/I’m fine Tha mi gu math, tapadh leat. - I am well, thank you (friendly) Tha mi gu math, tapadh leibh. - I am well, thank you (polite/plural) Chan eil dona - I’m not bad Tha mi sgìth - I’m tired Ciamar a tha sibh fhèin? - How are you, yourself?
