Located on the west coast of Sweden, Gothenburg has a city pulse with nature on its doorstep. Today's stroll features the street of Haga, one of the oldest neighbourhoods in Gothenburg. The pedestrian street Haga Nygata is lined with well-preserved houses, many in the characteristic Gothenburg style called “landshövdingehus” with one floor in brick and the rest in wood. Many of the old buildings in the area were spared the wrecking ball and have been renovated. These buildings are now the highlight of the district, featuring cobble-stoned lanes lined with cafés and shops. Our stroll concludes in the wealthy neighbourhood of Linne which is lined with trendy cafes, pubs, and restaurants. It is a also a popular culinary destination for both locals and tourists.
