Touring Area 419 for the second time! The last time we visited was over one year ago and I was inspired by what Jon Addis, Founder and CEO, was able to accomplish in their small garage shop. It was packed to the brim with Haas CNC lathes, CNC mills, and passion to provide high quality, precision rifle products. Since then, Area 419 has grown and the story is incredible. Jon gives us a great tour--showing their DMG Mori, Grob CNC and Haas CNC machines. We'll also get to hear more about how Jon makes decisions in terms of allocating resources, buying machines, building reliable processes, and the experience of building their new shop. Area 419 started with someone passionate about rifles but unable to afford sending them out for work. He picked up an old lathe and the rest is history!
