This was just a lot of work, no way around it. The piece started and ended at 17 1/2" at the widest point which is just about the max size for my 18" lathe. The top was not flat so had to remove 1 1/2" in height to level it. It was and is out of balance so the whole turning was done at under 400 RPM. I'm glad I did it and I like the outcome but won't be doing another this size anytime soon! LOL! Finished in shellac. Please Like, Share and Subscribe if you are so inclined.
