It’s a tiny Scottish Island off the coast of the Isle of Mull in the Inner Hebrides, on the west coast of Scotland, with ancient ruins, white sand beaches, and deep roots in early Christianity in Scotland. As part of this Scottish Travel Vlog, I spent the day visiting the Iona Abbey and climbing to the top of Dùn Ì, which means ‘Hill of Iona’ in Scottish Gaelic, for views across the Hebrides. I also explored the beaches on Iona (some of the best beaches in Scotland) and reflected on the Viking raids that once devastated this tiny island. Iona might be small, but it’s packed with Scottish history.
