However some plants can still grow all year round. Today we will see some of the plants that you can grow during winter. We will usually spread the seeds in autumn (depending where you live) and keep the production growing during the whole winter. Usually speaking the fruit plants are growing in summer and the winter production is mainly composed of leafy crop. Spinach, Silver beet, Radish, kale and Pak Choi are very easy to grow and will keep your garden green all year round. Snow peas are a nice crop to keep and will crawl along vertical supports. They also produce a very nice flower, most of the time white but some variety are purple. Garlic and onion are interesting and grow well in winter but don’t like to be kept in wet growbeds so make sure they are not buried too deep in the media. Broccoli and cauliflower are winter growing plants. They need a large surface and may not be adapted to the smallest growbeds. If you have over 1m2 of growbed you may want to have one or two plants as they look very nice and produce delicious veggies. Now let me know what type of plants you are growing in winter and inspire the whole community! Thanks ============ Our support: ============ 1.
