Salford is a Suburb of Manchester in the UK. And this Rum is actually BORN and BRED up in Manchester. The Rum is Distilled in Manchester by the Salford Rum Company. The Rum is Spiced and Flavoured in Manchester. There is no importing or Caribbean Rums involved in this. Having never tasted this rum before, I had no idea what to expect. But I got a really lovely Orangey vibe going on. There’s traditional spices in there too. But this is a very different spiced rum. Very well balanced. So if you’re looking for another diverse Rum to add to your collection, this s definitely one of them. How do you drink Salford Spiced Rum? In my humble opinion, my favourite Mixers or highballs were in fact the traditional mixers. Coca Cola Zero was my favourite. Plain Ginger Ale in second and Ginger beer in third.
