The arts and humanities can tell the story of a place and a community, and also tell the story of the many ways that story can be told. Poet Keegan Lester (Morgantown WV/NYC) reads “When Anthony Bourdain Came To Town" as part of the West Virginia Humanities Council’s new online and social media series, “Poetry During a Time of Crisis: WV Poets on Community, Resilience, and the Power of the Arts.” As we all stay mindful of the necessity of physical distancing in the current moment, the Council will share videos of West Virginia poets reading original work, recorded in their own homes or other personal spaces, to help foster a sense of human community and connection during a time when many of us may feel isolated.
