I talk about my involvement in the soon to be released Gay Kinky Biker film Pillion, (loosely adapted from Box Hill, by Adam Mars Jones), which premiered at Cannes in 2025, and will be at the BFI London Film Festival on 18th October. I play the role of one of the submissive pillions in Ray's biker gang (played by Alexander Skarsgard), Colin (played by Harry Melling), becomes Ray's sub in the film. After meeting with the director Harry Lighton, I got more involved in the film, and helped Harry M, prepare for his role by taking him on a bike ride and imparting some knowledge about being a gay biker and some kink. I was then offered one of the featured biker roles in the film, with the pillion role adapted to become a human pup role. I got asked some questions on my Instagram and this is the video of me answering those questions. Pillion Release UK: 28 November 2025 USA: February 2026 ------------------------------------------- A clearer explanation of question about improv. When it came to filming, all of the bikers and subs were able to have some input in how they would behave, We got sent scene details in advance, so had opportunities to feedback on whether that would work for authenticity, some scenes got reworked to include how a pup would behave as this wasn't originally planned for. Some ideas didn’t get used, however, when we were in the background but still visible, we were able to sort of do our own thing as long as it kept within the context of the scene, and just remembering what we did when we did another take or reshoot for continuity. ----------------------------------------- A question I missed out when filming my answers. In my opinion, how do I think people would react to the kink community after this? Tbh, I have no idea, the kink community is divisive and opinionated as much as there are different kinks. I hope that people just like it for what it is, a xmas dom-com, nothing too serious. There are plenty of films and tv series which already bring kink to the screen, many of which are done in a style meant to bring shock to the audience. What pillion does, it brings a comedy element to that learning, of finding yourself in a new situation that you want to explore. It's messy, there's no set guide or rules in place. Hopefully the kink community will react positively to this film. It's a piece of fiction, not a documentary, and it's only loosely based off of Adam Mars Jones book 'Box Hill'
