East Durham College - New Direct Bus from Darlo to Houghall and on to Peterlee (Starts Sept 2021)

Great news if you live in or near Darlington, Newton Aycliffe, Bishop Auckland, Spennymoor and want to study at our Houghall Campus in Durham or at our Peterlee sites. Coming to study at East Durham College and Houghall has never been easier because from this September 2021, there’s a brand new direct bus service, the ED5, from Darlington to Houghall (our specialist land based college in Durham). As well setting off from Darlo, ED5 will pick up in Harrowgate Hill, Aycliffe Village, Newton Aycliffe, Woodham, Chilton, Kirk Merrington, Spennymoor and Tudhoe. It will then convert into the ED3 to take students from Houghall to our Peterlee sites in time for the start of the college day. And of course, back home again. And the best bit… it’s FREE. That’s right – completely FREE. Nowt. Zip. Nada. Gratis. And don’t fret, if the ED5 doesn’t hit your area, EDC students can use ANY Arriva bus FREE of charge and we even have an ED1, 2, 3 and 4 service too. Wanna find out more?
