3 Ways to Set Slab Shaped Stones: A Silversmithing Tutorial

This video shows how to make three different styles of setting for stones with flat tops and bottoms. I'd love to hear which you like best! For materials I used 18 (1.02 mm) and 16 gauge (1.3 mm) sterling round wire, 10 (2.59 mm), 12 (2.01 mm), and (14 gauge (1.6 mm) sterling square wire, 22 (.66 mm) and 18 gauge (1.02 mm) sterling sheet, and 3/16 inch fine silver bezel strip in 26 gauge (4.76 mm x .41 mm).
