"We need all of your help and the community's support and help in this case," said Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Homicide Lt. Ray Spencer during an update on the investigation Friday evening. "Someone has to recognize this young man," said Lt. Spencer. "It could be a neighbor, it could be a friend of the family's. Something that could lead investigators in a direction where we can get him identified in this investigation." The Las Vegas police department says it has been in communication with other area agencies including those in Henderson, North Las Vegas, Nye County, and San Bernardino, California, and so far there are no missing person reports that match this case. Investigators stress the information they can share at this time is vague because the investigation is active and ongoing.
