Story Behind the Song: I've loved Michael Jackson's Black or White for a long time, and ever since hearing Peter Bence's amazing piano version, I've felt inspired to do my own. Recently, I was playing through the chorus, and when I got to the chords on "if you wanna be my baby it don't matter if you're black or white", I suddenly heard the melody/lyrics "O sweet child o' mine". My jaw just about hit the floor when I realized how beautifully these songs go together. And then I discovered that Guns N' Roses guitarist Slash played with Michael Jackson all the time!!
