The micropile is a stable foundation element from our own production for high loads. In this explanatory video, you will learn everything about the application possibilities, production and advantages of the micropile, a method of special civil engineering. Micropiles are used as foundation and anchoring elements in all types of soil as well as in rock when the subsoil has a low load-bearing capacity or when tiebacks are possible without prestressing. At our construction site in Backnang (Baden-Württemberg), where a new building including an underground garage with a timber hybrid superstructure is being built, a safe and flexible solution for the foundation of the underground garage and the residential building was required: The loads from the new building were to be transferred via the existing foundations.
