Finding The Melody

My thanks to Angie Veri for posing/posting this query. In a room where the temperature was 100f by the time I finished this, I am attempting to explain how one can find the melody of a sing within and around the chord shape. I'll admit that I flubbed some notes, but it was not about my dexterity or a performance,I just wanted to share this whilst it was on my mind. Sooo : Major chords are of three notes, he 1st 3rd and 5th notes of the scale, and these are where most melodies begin. The notes within a melody are going to be mostly within the chord and within the other notes within the scale. I hope this helps. Please let my have your queries,, comments and/or corrections.
